Jordan and Drayton had an exquisitely chic June wedding that we’re so excited to share with you on the Blog today! A wedding with an outdoor ceremony that included a white Hydrangea arch and Rose petal and crystal garland decoration overhead…and a fantastic indoor reception, all at a venue we are really head-over-heels for: The Skiatook Lake Springs Event Center.
This venue has quite the backdrop for an outdoor wedding ceremony—gorgeous waterfront scenery—and the lodge for an indoor reception is a class act. BCreative Tulsa Photography really did a smashing job of capturing just how gorgeous this all-white-bloom June wedding was.
One of our favorite pieces we designed this summer was Jordan and Drayton’s petal garland canopy for their reception. Running with the theme of white Rose petal strands that danced overhead for their outdoor ceremony, we created an elaborate canopy above their dining table.
This beauty was a labor of love—several hours of work, but what a stunning installation it was! We used a base of bleached Manzanita Branches, strung white Rose petal garlands throughout, hung glass globes with tea lights for that romantic touch, and filled the piece with white Hydrangea and white Phalaenopsis Orchids. Swoon!! If a statement piece at your reception is what you’re looking for, this design does not fall short!
